PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a 4,5-unsaturated-1-hydrazono-3-ketone, to provide a method for producing the same, a method for producing a 4,5-unsaturated-1,3-diketone (f) using the 4,5-unsaturated-1-hydrazono-3-ketone and a new method for producing (meth)acryloyl acetone. ;SOLUTION: This 4,5-unsaturated-1-hydrazono-3-ketone (a) is represented by general formula (1) (R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are each hydrogen or a 1-4C alkyl group). This method for producing the 4,5-unsaturated-1- hydrazono-3-ketone (a) is provided.
