PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a prescribed user the authority to perform a substitutional documenting process without giving a secret log-in password. ;SOLUTION: A person who requests a substitutional documenting process specifies and registers a form class for identifying a substitutionally requested document and the start date and end date for discriminating its period of the request in an electronic document system as a substitute documenting user ID specifying a person who is requested to perform the substitutional document process. The electronic document system registers a requester user ID specifying the requester together. The substitute documenting person is allowed to enter the documenting mode of the requester. Once the documenting mode of the substitute documenting requester is entered, documents that the substitute documenting person can create are selected according to information on registered class forms, start days, end days, etc., and displayed as a list. When the substitute documenting person selects one of them, the blank form of the electronic document can be obtained and user information of the name, user ID, section, etc., of the requester is automatically embedded.
