PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dictionary data capable of exactly recognizing a concept expressed by a word or extracting the ambiguousness of the concept expressed by the word or similar relation of concepts between synonyms. SOLUTION: Concerning plural words expressing a certain attribute, a function (nuance function) specifying the positions of these words and the spread of the attribute expressed by these words is set on an axis respectively expressing the ranges of degrees of the attribute. This nuance function is provided by statistically processing the positioned results of respective words on the axis. The more the concept expressed by the words becomes ambiguous, the wider the function is laterally spread. Besides, the similarity degree of the concept of respective words can be found from the relative position relation or overlapping degree of the function on the axis.
