PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for stacking a magnetic disk blank material, capable of executing planarizing (pressurizing/annealing) for realizing a high degree of planarity, and a magnetic disk blank material planarizing method. ;SOLUTION: The rolling direction of a magnetic disk blank material 1 being transferred is detected, a deviation angle θ between the detected rolling direction of the blank material 1 and an optionally set reference direction x is calculated, a stacking platform 4 is rotated in direction of the deviation angle θ by a corresponding amount, the blank material 1 is stacked on the stacking platform 4, while it is substantially coincident with the rotational center of the stacking platform 4, and the stacking platform 4 is returned to a state before rotation. These steps are repeated.
