PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum alloy plate in which an aluminum alloy plate having a fine crystal grain structure can be produced at a low cost without requiring complicated treatment and strict control which are conventionally performed and to provide an aluminum alloy plate obtainable by the same method. ;SOLUTION: This method includes a process in which an aluminum alloy thick plate having the average crystal grain size ≤20 μm in the cross-section in the longitudinal direction is heated to a temperature region of the recovery temperature or higher and lower than recrystallization temperature. The plate is rolled by a different circumferential speed rolling mill, and the aluminum alloy plate having a fine crystal grain structure with the average crystal grain size of ≤3 μm is obtained by this process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
