PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pickling SUS430 stainless steel in which the corrosion resistance of bright annealed SUS stainless steel is made excellent, and the generation of temper color can be suppressed. ;SOLUTION: In this pickling method in which a bright annealed SUS430 stainless steel strip bright annealed after rolling is dipped in a nitric acid bath, the concentration of nitric acid in the bath is controlled to 7 to 13 mass %, the bath temperature is controlled to 10 to 35°C, and the pickling time is controlled to 3 to 7 sec.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
