PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic base isolation trigger mechanism and a trigger material capable of preventing the transfer of fine vibration, at the same time, absorbing a horizontal error in case of installation and preventing a fatigue damage. ;SOLUTION: The seismic base isolation trigger mechanism is so constituted that the trigger material is placed between an upper structure 1 and a lower structure 2 through an upper holding member 6 and a lower holding member 7, a space 14 is made between at least one or the other of the upper holding member 6 and the lower holding member 7 and trigger material 9, and the space 14 is filled with a filler 15 constituted of a viscous body for allowing the horizontal displacement of the trigger material 9, a viscoelastic body or an elastic body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
