ISOCHRONOUS TRANSFER METHOD ON UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS BY ERROR CORRECTION ALGORITHM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside interface having a high data transferring speed which is properly supported by an operating system specific to a host computer. ;SOLUTION: This is a method for mounting such a device which can not permit any waiting time as a CD-RW device on a high band width interface which is satisfactorily supported on a host computer. The desired high band width interface is obtained as a universal serial bus(USB) which is normally installed in a personal computer manufacture in the late 1990s. An isochronous transfer mode desired for communication with the CD-RW requiring continuous data transfer and the other device is used based on necessity for the preliminarily assigned high band width. One of the data reliability mechanisms is mounted on connection with the USB, and precision in data transfer to various devices connected with the USB is guaranteed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
