HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND ADHESIVE INTERLINING FABRIC USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive interlining fabric showing a greatly improved initial bond strength, resistance to washing and stream resistance using a hot- melt adhesive aqueous dispersion.;SOLUTION: This adhesive interlining fabric is obtained by coating or impregnating an interlining with a hot-melt adhesive composition in the state of an aqueous dispersion which consists of a polyamide resin powder mainly containing an amino group within the molecule and a thickener containing an ammonium salt or an amine salt of a carboxyl group and allowing the interlining fabric to hold the composition. The polyamide resin is a copolymerized polyamide resin having ah amino group concentration of from 10 to 500 mmol/kg. The adhesive interlining fabric shows an excellent initial bond strength, resistance to washing and stream resistance and effectively binds to materials which were conventionally difficult to attach to or fabric prepared using hard twisted yarns.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
