PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-shrinkage polyester yarn for the production of a cloth having excellent processability in advanced processing, bulkiness, softness and resilience as well as excellent beautifulness of the cloth surface and wearing comfortability such as light weight and heat-retaining property.;SOLUTION: The objective low-shrinkage polyester slub yarn is a conjugated sheath-core fiber containing a polymer (A) composed essentially of a polyester at the sheath part and a polymer (B) having a temperature dependency of the tensile viscosity higher than that of the polymer (A) at the core part, having thick parts and thin parts continuously arranged in longitudinal direction, having partial hollow part formed by the breakage of the polymer (B) of the core part and satisfying the following requirements. Boiling water shrinkage is 4-10%, dry-heat shrinkage after the boiling water shrinking is ≤0%, the sum of the boiling water shrinkage and the dry-heat shrinkage after the boiling water shrinking is ≤8%, the elongation is 60-100% and the U% is ≥2.5%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
