PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation space and greatly reduce the dissolving time and eliminate uneven agitation like undissolved lumps of soil to make it possible to produce backfilling soil having a stable quality. ;SOLUTION: In this high density slurry shield excavation, a lead-in slurry line 5 branched from a force-feed line 4 of discharged slurry is provided and connected to the discharge opening of the lead-in slurry line 5. Further, a box- shaped device 8 producing threadlike slurry, provided with a screen 9 formed of one of a latticed plate, wire gauze, and a perforated plate is installed.
