METHOD FOR DYEING PLASTIC LENS AND SUBSTRATE FOR DYEING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a plastic lens easily preparing its concentration, always performing the drying of the plastic lens having a stable hue and the dyeing work comfortably without harming working environment.;SOLUTION: This method for dyeing the plastic lens is provided by pasting a dyeing material obtained by dissolving or dispersing a sublimating pigment as fine particles on a substrate of which at least a heated surface for receiving the heat from a heat source is formed as almost black color, opposing the pasted surfaces of the substrate pasted with the dyeing material with the both surfaces of the plastic lens as non contacting state almost in vacuum, heating the heated surfaces of the substrate with the above heat source for sublimating the sublimating pigment and bringing the sublimed pigment in contact with he plastic lens.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
