PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group character fighting method, a recording medium, and a game device capable of expressing a series of operations of group fighting in a more real manner. SOLUTION: It is judged whether a foe mounted soldier belonging to a foe unit exists in a region which is set as a scope of visual field of an object mounted soldier in advance and in which a measure against foe can be taken or not (S406). When it is judged that the foe mounted soldier exists in the region (S410, 416, 428), the foe mounted soldier judges whether fighting against the object mounted soldier is possible or not. When it is judged that fighting is possible, the foe mounted soldier is recognized as a foe against which the object mounted soldier should fight (S440), and the foe mounted soldier brings the object mounted soldier close to a region in which fighting is possible of the object mounted soldier.
