PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried type self-luminous road rivet, which has an almost ideal waterproof construction, stopping inundation and damaging of a translucent part. SOLUTION: The road rivet consists of a frame body 1, a translucent part 4, a luminous unit 5 and an electricity storage device 6. The frame body 1 consists of a lid 2 with an upside opening part 25, a cylindrical case 3 on which the lid 2 is installed. Between the lid 2 and the case 3, the translucent part 4 is put on holding and securing the surroundings, a part of the translucent 4 being projected from opening part 25 of the lid. Between kept secured between the lid 2 and the case 3 with the surroundings, the translucent part 4 is installed on the frame body 1, avoiding local stress the translucent part 4, such as shock and warping, which results in improved durability.
