PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring method for a data communication network system, capable of exactly and easily wiring and connecting the network. ;SOLUTION: A terminal 40 is connected with a modular panel 5 via a wiring cable 42 and is further connected with network connecting equipment from the modular panel 5 via a patch code 43. Each light-emitting diodes 8 for emitting light by power feeding via the wiring cable 42 is provided at a position in the vicinity of each of second modular jacks 6 of the modular panel 5. The second modular jack 6 corresponding to the wiring cable 42 with which the prescribed terminal 40 is intended to be connected is discriminated by making the light-emitting diodes 8 emit light, by feeding power to the light emitting diodes 8 via the wiring cable 42 before the specified terminal 40 is connected with the wiring cable 42.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
