ACOUSTIC REPRODUCTION SYSTEM, LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM AND LOUDSPEAKER INSTALLATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproducing system, a loudspeaker system and a loud speaker installation method, where the influence of a reflected sound is reduced. ;SOLUTION: The loudspeaker is installed by setting at least one of a height and an angle of elevation to an installing surface, so that the attenuation of sound pressure due to the interference of direct sounds from the loudspeaker and reflected sound from the installing surface may occur at a predicted hearing point concerning a frequency band ranging from 1 kHz to 3 kHz in the frequency components of sound generated from the loudspeaker. More specifically, at least one of the height and the angle of elevation is fixed, so that a difference between the propagating path of the direct sound and that of the reflected sound may become between 5.67 cm and 17 cm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
