PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser knife tip of a structure which can prevent the dissolution during the use and keep a shape thereof. SOLUTION: This laser knife tip comprises a large diameter portion 4 which is fitted to a tip of a handpiece with the laser beam incident thereon, and a small diameter portion 5 which is continuously provided to the large diameter portion 4 via a tapered portion 6 with the laser beam emitted therefrom. The total laser knife tip is formed in a non-hollow shape of crystalline sodium chloride, molten sodium chloride, crystalline potassium chloride, molten potassium chloride, or a mixture thereof. The total laser knife tip is prevented from being dissolved during the use by coating the tip by cyclic olefin polymer or polyimide.
