PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which can prevent degradation of image characteristics, contamination of a photoreceptor and image error, and to provide a method for manufacturing the toner and a method for toner recycle development. SOLUTION: The toner for a toner recycle system is prepared by depositing silica containing, by weight, =1.0% particles having =25 μm particle size by 0.4 to 1.0 wt.% to the weight of the toner mother particles on the surface of the toner mother particles, and the apparent density C of the toner is 0.29 to 0.32 g/ml.
