METHOD AND MECHANISM FOR DISTRIBUTING OBJECTS TO CRANES TRAVELING IN PARALLEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and mechanism for distributing objects cranes traveling in parallel capable of carrying objects to be carried by distributing the objects to a plurality of cranes traveling in parallel in also narrow space.;SOLUTION: A rail 3 for electric traverser is laid so as to intersect a plurality of rails 4 for cranes. In an intersection part 5 in which a rail 3 and a rail 4 intersect each other, a mating wheel can be traveled by recessing each part corresponding to both sides of a mating rail in both the rails 3 and 4. One of recessed parts provided on the rails 4 is made deeper so that a cable 14 of the electric traverser 1 may be put in and is made as a recessed part for cable. By moving the electric traverse 1 loading objects to be carried up to the one rail 4 along the rail 3, dropping the cable 14 extended from the electric traverser 1 into a recessed part for cable and moving cranes 2 traveling on the rails 4 up to an upper side of electric traverser 1, objects to be carried are distributed to one of cranes 2 installed on each of the plurality of rails 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
