PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present the suitability of selectable devices to a device retrieval condition from a client unit to a user, to widen the selection range of device units selectable in the entire system by the user, and to make freely selectable an intended device from the plural devices matching with the retrieval condition. SOLUTION: According to the retrieval conditions of the device received from the client unit 20, this server unit 10 refers to an ability information table 15 acquired from the plural devices units including the device unit 30 for management and informs the client unit 20 of the ability information of the suitable plural devices. The retrieved result of the suitable devices is displayed on the client unit 20.
