PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an Al series bearing alloy excellent in wear resistance and substituted for the conventional Al-Pb alloy and Al-Sn alloy without using Pb whose use is limited from the viewpoint of an environmental problem.;SOLUTION: This Al-Bi sintered bearing alloy consists of an alloy containing 3 to 50 vol.% bismuth, and the balance Al of 97 to 50 vol.% or an alloy containing 3 to 50 vol.% bismuth, and the balance of 97 to 50 vol.% consisting of 97 wt.% Al and 3 wt.% Mg. By incorporating the alloy with copper and graphite by ≤15 volume % in total, the specific wear amount is moreover reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
