PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain each water-resistant fluorescent powder and luminous powder and solid matter thereof. ;SOLUTION: The subject glaze is obtained by compounding 30-60 pts.wt. of a fluophor and luminophor, 0.2-15 pts.wt. of inorganic ultramicroparticles, 60-100 pts.wt. of frit glaze and 30-60 pts.wt. of a binder. The 2nd objective water-resistant inorganic fluorescent powder and water-resistant luminous fluorescent powder are obtained by including an inorganic fluophor and luminophor, inorganic ultramicroparticles, and at least one matter selected from triglyceride mixtures each 100-145 in iodine number, polybutenes, hydrogenated petroleum resins and isoparaffins, and the above powder is baked at a given temperature; or the above powder is incorporated with a gelatinizer or an organic clearing agent to effect solidification. The 3rd objective solid matter thus obtained is hardly subjected to chemical change even in water, exhibiting the function of fluophor and/or luminophor, being excellent in water resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance and weatherability as well, therefore being usable over a long period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
