HYPOCHOLESTEROL AGENT EFFECTIVE FOR PATIENT WITH DRUG- INTRACTABLE HYPERCHOLESTEROL SYMPTOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent useful for the patients with drug- intractable hypercholesterol who cannot reach to their therapeutic targets even though taking a hypolipidic agent by including a hypocholesterol protein as an active ingredient. ;SOLUTION: This agent is obtained by including as an active ingredient a hypocholesterol protein which is derived from preferably a soybean protein. This agent is useful for patients with drug-intractable hypercholesterol who cannot reach to their therapeutic targets even though taking a hypolipidic agent as preferably HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. The daily amount of the above- mentioned hypocholesterol protein to be taken is preferably 6-30 g when a patient with 60 kg weight takes a separated soybean protein (if a crude protein content is 90%).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
