PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide titanyl phthalocyanine-azo pigment mixed crystals suitable for an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in potential stability in repeated use, preparation thereof, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor, an electrophotographic method, and an electrophotographic apparatus using the same. ;SOLUTION: A pigment composition is provided which contains titanyl phthalocyanine and a bisazo pigment represented by the formula and has a Cu-Kα X-ray diffraction spectrum having at least two peaks at 4.6±0.2° and 27.2±0.2° at Bragg angle of 2θ. In the formula, R1, R2, and R3 are each independently halogen, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, nitro, cyano, hydroxyl or optionally substituted amino; p, q, and r are each an integer; and each Cp is independently a coupler residue.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
