PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for coating a metal plate, having excellent impact resistance, chemical resistance, moldability, heat resistance, gas barrier properties and adhesivity to a metal. ;SOLUTION: This resin composition for coating a metal plate comprises a polyester resin (A) having 0.5-2.0 dl/g intrinsic viscosity, a polycarbonate resin (B) and a rubber-like elastic body resin (C) in the ratio of 1-50 pts.wt. of the polycarbonate resin (B) and 1-50 pts.wt. of the rubber-like elastic body resin (C) based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyester resin (A). In the composition, preferably the rubber-like elastic body resin (C) is an acrylonitrile-styrene- butadiene copolymer or a core-shell type rubber-like elastic body resin having a shell part composed of a polar vinyl polymer and the polar vinyl polymer is an acrylate-based polymer. This resin film for coating the metal plate comprises the resin composition. This resin coated metal plate is obtained by coating a metal plate with the resin film.
