PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital CATV re-transmission device which corresponds to the format of program information to be provided by the all networks having the probability of re-transmission when the plurality of networks are received and re-transmission is selectively performed if necessary.;SOLUTION: The device is provided with a receiver for receiving digital satellite broadcasting waves and transmitting a digital broadcasting stream packet, a network information generating unit for detecting the packet with described program information requiring conversion, replacing detected program information by contents which are converted based on prepared program information and multiplexing the packet with replaced program information with an original digital broadcasting stream, a CATV program information setting unit for generating prepared program information and a digital modulator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
