PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an immediate adsorption effect by forming a board-shaped state that flame-retardant flexible or rigid fiber cotton is mixed with powdered activated carbon in a bag made of a vapor permeable film. ;SOLUTION: An envelope-shaped bag having 30 cm in length and 90 cm in width is made of a vapor permeable film 1. A flexible fiber cotton having 4 cm in thickness is cut to have a vertical length of 27 cm and a lateral length of 87 cm. The cut fiber cotton threads 2 are inserted in the envelope-shaped bag and powdered activated carbon of about 250 g is fed in the bag to mix with the fiber cotton threads 2. The opening of the envelope-shaped bag is adhered and sealed up so that the mixture does not spill outside. The contents are mixed well so that the powdered activated carbon 3 is entangled in the fiber cotton threads 2 by a mixing work to elaborately vibrate the whole face. Air flowing in through fine holes of the permeable film 1 having air-permeability and vapor permeability is always brought into contact with the powdered activated carbon 3 and flows out to the outside of the bag.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
