ANALYZER FOR SIMULTANEOUS EXECUTION OF RAMAN SPECTROSCOPIC ANALYSIS AND PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION MEASUREMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an analyzer by which a Raman spectroscopic analysis and a particle size distribution measurement can be executed simultaneously, precisely and quickly to the same part of the same sample and by which the Raman spectroscopic analysis and the particle size distribution measurement can be executed simultaneously. ;SOLUTION: This analyzer is composed of a Raman spectroscopic analyzer R in which a laser beam is irradiated toward a sample S from a laser light source 2 and in which the sample S is identified and quantitatively determined by using the Raman spectrum of generated Raman scattered light. In addition, the analyzer is composed of a particle size distribution measuring device P which measures a particle size distribution by using scattered light and transmitted light which are generated when the laser beam is irradiated. The laser light source 2 is used jointly for a Raman spectroscopic analysis and a particle size distribution measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
