PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing and load distribution to a map server.;SOLUTION: A portable telephone 111 inputs retrieval conditions (10). The retrieval conditions include current position information, one's destination information, and the like. The telephone sends the retrieval conditions to a map server 104 (11). The server receives a retrieval request function (12), and generates map information coinciding with the retrieval conditions and guide information parts (23). A complete guide map is generated according to the map information and the guide information parts. The server sends the map information and guide information parts to the portable telephone (24). The telephone receives the map information and the guide information parts (25), and integrates the guide information parts for generating the completed guide map (26).
