PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling efficiency of an outdoor cubicle type transforming facility by attaching a filter paper to a catch basin through a funnel and actuating a floatless switch quickly when moisture adheres thereto thereby reducing adhesion of dust to transformer, capacitor, and the like.;SOLUTION: An outdoor cubicle is about 2 m high and since the temperature difference is 2°C between the ground surface and the height of about 1.8 m, dust enters through natural convection of air into the outdoor cubicle and adheres to a transformer, a capacitor, a circuit breaker, and the like. Consequently, cooling effect is lowered and an electrical accident may occur when the dust contains moisture. In order to prevent such a trouble, a thermostat 1 is actuated as the temperature rises and a fan is rotated forward or reversely to take is cold air from the upper part at least when the temperature rises and to push out dust upward from below. Furthermore, a filter sheet placed on a funnel is attached to the catch basin and the forward/reverse switch of an electromagnetic switch is actuated by means of the float switch 4 of an electrode rod in order to prevent intrusion of moisture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
