PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel strip having a required quality by performing finish rolling for a respective steel strip corresponding to the quality required for the steel strip.;SOLUTION: A finish tandem rolling mill 20 is provided with plural lubrication oil tanks 7a-7c, a spray water tank 5, a spray water cooling device 4 and a spray water pump 6. A mixing device 2 connected to the lubrication oil tanks 7a-7c respectively through gear pumps 8a-8c and plural spray nozzles 3, which are connected with the mixing devices and arranged to the inlet side of rolling stands, are arranged to one stand or more. The water in the spray water tank 5, is sent into the mixing device 2 through the spray water cooling device 4 and the spray water pump 6. By this method, for a respective hot rolling steel strip and corresponding to the quality required for the hot rolled steel strip, a mixing ratio of the lubrication oils of two or more kinds is changed, the rolling oil consisting of the composition-changed lubrication oil and water is supplied to one or more rolling stands, thus, finish rolling is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
