BENT LAPAROSCOPE SCISSORS HAVING ARC PORTION WITH TWO KINDS OF CURVATURES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surgical scissors of laparoscope type for cutting tissues so that a pair of mutually facing blade members have a pair of base-side arch portions and a pair of tip-side ones, and that each pair of the arch portions may give an optimum energy to cutting with these portions at cutting edges of the blade members. SOLUTION: Curved portion of each blade 80 and 90 is composed of a curved portion at the base side 103 and that at the tip side 104. The curved portions of the base side 103 and the tip side 104 of the first blade member 80 have the first and second radii of curvature R1 and R2, respectively, while those of the base side 103 and the tip side 104 of the second blade member 90 have the third and fourth radii of curvature R3 and R4, respectively. These radii of curvature have respectively been measured from the common central line 101 parallel to the common rotary axis 62, and mutually different.
