PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high performance and excellent economical property and enable improving reliability in the case that superconductive wiggler magnet equipment has multipoles and is long in the longitudinal direction.;SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a vacuum vessel 17, a magnet assembly 14 wherein a plurality of pairs of superconducting coils 12 which vertically face with each other interposing a beam duct 11 forming an electron beam path in the vacuum vessel are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the beam duct 11, a cooling means 15 for cooling the magnet assembly at a very low temperature, and a radiation shield 16 which is arranged so as to surround the magnet assembly 14 and the cooling means 15, is installed as an insertion light source in a radiation light ring, and generates a radiation light. In this case, scattering radiation light paths are formed on both sides of an electron beam path formed in the central part of the widthwise direction of the beam duct 11, and the height of the scattering radiation light paths is made lower than the height of the electron beam path and higher than the scattering width of a scattering radiation light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
