EVALUATION METHOD OF ELECTRIC INSULATION OIL AND METHOD OF ANALYZING HETERO COMPOUND INCLUDING ELECTRIC INSULATION OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily evaluate within a short period the deteriorating condition of electric insulation oil of an oil sealed electric appliance. SOLUTION: In this evaluation method, an electric insulation oil is applied to an absorbing material such as silicagel or alumina or the like for adsorption of the sulfur based or nitride based hetero-compound included in the electric insulation oil, after oil element is removed from the adsorbing material, a solvent consisting of dichloromethane is applied to the adsorbing material to collect the sulfur-based compound with a solvent, and the solvent is then analyzed with an analyzing apparatus to measure the amount of sulfoxide in the electric insulation oil to evaluate deterioration of electric insulating oil that is in the correlated relationship with the sulfoxide amount.
