NOISE REDUCING STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE INTERIOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable achieving a reduction of ambient noise in automobile interior with simple configuration, and to enhance the reducing effect of the noise, and further, not to let the space of automobile interior be narrowed unduly. ;SOLUTION: An armrest 20 is installed at an interior wall 7 of car body 1. The armrest 20 is formed as a box shape and a resonant space 28 is formed inside the box. A communicating pipe 31 that is fixed with the armrest 20 is installed. By communicating a vehicle compartment 2 and space 28 through communicating pass 32 in the communicating tube 31, a resonance room 38 is made by the space 28 and communicating pass 32. At least one part of the communicating tube 31 in the axial direction is positioned nearer to the side of space 28 than a general surface 33 of outer surface of the armrest 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
