PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for judging whether objects to be treated are subjected to sterilizing operation for sterilizing cages charged into/discharged from a retort sterilizer.;SOLUTION: This method or means involves a device for detecting unsterilized cages and has such a scheme that, there is furnished an indicator 3 made up of a case 4 flanked on a cage 2 loaded with to-be-treated objects with its upper end open and a float 5 loaded inside the case 4, a limit switch 11 for detecting the floating bar 6 of the float 5 projecting from the case 4 due to water filled in the case 4 in conducting a sterilization by a retort sterilizer 1 is furnished on the conveyance route for the cage 2, and a means for draining water from the case 4 after detection is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
