PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce error occurrence rate, when a route is detected by sequentially raising the transmission power levels of the radio machine of a self-station and a repeater station and retransmitting a route request, when an error packet is received. SOLUTION: When a communication controller 202 transmits the packet of a route request and receives the error packet of the route request, it sends an instruction command to a transmission power control part 205 and raises the transmission power of a radio signal transmitted from the radio transmitter 203 by a prescribed level from a present level. The packet of the route request is retransmitted. When affirmation response packet of the route request is received, a data packet is transmitted, in accordance with a route contained in it. When the error packet is received, transmission power is raised sequentially from a repeater station near the self-station. Thus, a cover area is increased, and the route request is retransmitted.
