AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE CONTROLLER FOR AC GENERATOR USING PROGRAMMABLE DSP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the setting corresponding to a target AC generator. ;SOLUTION: This automatic voltage controller is equipped with a memory MEM, and a device SR (thyristor rectifier). In this case, the memory MEM stores time-series data regarding a detection voltage which is taken out of the output of the AC generator, and the device SR successively reads the detection voltage according to a detection command given at specific timing, rewrites the oldest data in the time-series data being stored in the memory with the detection voltage, obtains a running average value by an instantaneous voltage detection program means according to the data, corresponding to one cycle of the detection voltage, obtains the deviation between the running average value and a preset value, calculates a control value for controlling the field current of the AC generator by a programmable DSP(digital signal processor), according to a program which is given in advance, and controls the field current based on the control value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
