RUST PREVENTIVE SYSTEM FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM BY WATER QUALITY REFORMING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust preventive system for a water distribution system by water quality reforming which is capable of exerting a rust preventive to the entire part of the water distribution system.;SOLUTION: A water quality reforming means 6 for a water tank and water quality reforming means 7 for piping to be disposed at piping 6 of respective stories respectively have current controllers 8 and electrodes 9. The electrodes 9 are provided with anodes in such a manner that the anodes come into contact with the water distributed at the inside surfaces at all times. The electrodes are provided with cathodes at the points properly parted from these anodes to continuously or intermittently supply direct current into the distributed water. The electric energy imparted to the distributed water is made sufficient to increase a pH as far as possible while satisfying a prescribed water quality standard and to change the water to the water hardly generating rust by lowering the oxidation reduction potential(ORP) at standard hydrogen electrodes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
