DRIVE CIRCUIT FOR TIME TELLING AND TIME TELLING TIMEPIECE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generalize a drive circuit for bell time telling mechanism.;SOLUTION: This time telling drive circuit turns on transistors 216 and 217 when a clock movement 1 outputs 'L' time signal, quickly charges a capacitor 225 with electric charge, turns on transistors 218 and 219 and drives a motor 41 to operate a drive member 44. In the case a clock movement 1 stops output of time signal 'L' before a switch 6 is closed by the drive member 44, the clock movement 1, the charged capacitor 225 is gradually discharged, the motor 41 continues rotation even if 'L' time signal output stops. When the switch 6 is opened by the drive of the drive member 44, a transistor 222 turns on, a transistor 224 also turns on and the charge of the capacitor 225 is quickly discharged. When bell ringing is executed by the drive member 44, the switch 6 opens and it returns to the initial state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
