PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for working an inner surface of a cylindrical body to manufacture the cylindrical body with high dimensional accuracy at a low cost, and a working tool used therefor.;SOLUTION: In working at least one kind of recessed part of a plurality of recessed parts discontinuous in the circumferential direction and a plurality of recessed parts continuous in the circumferential direction on an inner surface of a cylindrical body, a working tool 10 having a plurality of projecting parts is loosely inserted in an opening part in the axial direction of a work, and the work and the working tool 10 are in an eccentric condition, and one is pressed against the other. At least one of the working tool 10 and the work is rotated to form a recessed part by pressing the projecting part at least once against the inner surface of the work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
