PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or remove the toxic substance of a housing material/ building unit using a bake-out method without the necessity of special expenses for light/fuel or a heating device and without delaying a moving in date.;SOLUTION: In storing or transporting a housing material to a building unit, on purpose to protect the same, and as a protective cover to cover the same, a protective cover 20 having an exhaust opening 22 for exhausting the vaporized matter of a toxic substance is used. In the process of storage or transportation of the material or the unit, the vaporization of the toxic substance in the same is promoted by the heat kept in the cover 20 covering the material or the unit, and the vaporized matter is exhausted from the exhaust opening 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
