Air-conditioning by adjustable use of thermal insulation onlight-transmitting glass or plastic surfaces

The air space between double (or multiple) glass (or plastic) panels isfilled with particles that have excellent thermal insulation values due totheir size, shape, structure and material characteristics either by manualaction or an automatic motorised mechanism. These particles are hereinafterreferred to as "insulation particles" in this text. These insulationparticles can be removed from the said air space and stored in a reservoir.The use of this system results in the following added value, 1. Added valuein the field of thermal comfort in, a living or working environment by bettercontrol of climatologic effects in these areas. 2. An added value by reducingthe loss of heat which results in the reduction of heating costs. 3. An addedvalue through the solar reflective effect which results in a reduction ofcosts for cooling.IMAGE
