The invention relates to a shipment and/or storage container (1) for radioactive heat evolution elements, having at least one cover, bottom (2), lining (3) and interior space (4). Lining (3) of container (1) comprises an internal jacket (5) enclosing the container interior space, and an outer jacket (6) fitted at some distance from the internal jacket (5). The intermediate space formed between the internal (5) and the outer (6) jackets is filled with a filler. The internal jacket (5) is connected to the outer jacket (6) by heat conducting metal elements (8). Elements (8), by one of their ends are always solidly connected to the internal (5) or the outer (6) jacket and by their other ends are fitted to the opposite lying internal (5) or outer (6) jacket, respectively, with prestressing and in this way establish heat conducting contacts. 7 claims, 5 figures
