SENSORS OF PARTNER OF VIBRATING CONDUCT PROCEDURE APPLICATED, OPERATIONAL METHODS AND COMPUTER PROGRAMME PRODUCTS USING A COMPLEX MODAL ESTIMATE A process parameter (45) such as a mass flow is determined on a channel parameter sensor (5) using a complex modal transformation estimated from a plurality of movement signals representing movement of the parameter sensor conduit. According to one aspect of the present invention,a complex eigen vector is provided representing the movement of the conduit in the plurality of locations in a known mass flow. A plurality of movement signals are received from a plurality of motion transducers, the plurality of movement signals indicating movement in a local plurality in the conduit as a material flowing through the conduit. A complex modal transformation related to the plurality received from movement signals to the vectorcomplex eigen is estimated. The mass flow through the conduit is estimated from the known mass flow and the estimated complex modal transformation. The apparatus and related computer program products are also presented.
