In the present invention there is disclosed the use of phospholipid for preparing a pharmaceutical preparation intended for treating and prevention of toxicity caused by endotoxin. The preparation does not contain proteins and peptides and additionally it can contain for instance triglycerides, other polar or neutral lipids, and bile acids of bile acid salts.
