Novel Bacillus strain for controlling diseases of plants and Diabrotica undecimpunctata chrysomel

In the present invention, there is disclosed a Bacillus subtilis strain, which produces antibiotics and metabolites having insecticidal, antimycotic and antibacterial activity. The supernatant of this new strain contains effective insecticidal, antimycotic and antibacterial agents. There is also disclosed a method for the protection or treatment of plants in case of fungal or bacterial infections and infestation by beetles of Diabrotica genus, by application of agents containing products obtained from culture of the new Bacillus subtilis strain alone, or in combination with chemical pesticides and/or other biological control agents.
