The method and plant for biological cleaning of waste water involves the submission of water to one or more types of micro-biological treatment in a treatment unit where it passes through a bed (1,2) of micro-organisms. The water then is submitted to a separation stage (3), where the micro-organisms released from the bed are removed from the waste water.
