The server (1) contains a database (8) of goods or services on offer. Clients' computers (3-5) are connected by eg. the Internet (2). Information structured hierarchically is shown in tabular format on screen. The data processing to construct and calculate an order list is carried out on the client's PC using a program downloaded from the server.
