The building has one or more duct elements (5) that can be fixed to each other, placed along the wall (1) and the floor (2,3) of the building to accommodate the cabling. At least part of each wall is narrowed to reduce the visible depth of the duct to about 30mm, even though the duct is 35-45 mm wide. The duct is divided into two compartments (12,13) and has a closing plate (8) for closing the duct. Independent claims are included for a method of arranging a duct element, a frame and a cable duct assembly.
